The cast of "The White-Faced One" is Megumi Hayashibara!　TV Anime "Ushio-Tora" to Hold Advance Screening for Third Cool Episode Starting in April

The TV anime "Ushio-Tora" will enter its third season in April, and an advance screening of episode 27 was held on March 13.

Ushio-Tora" is an anime work based on the famous manga by Kazuhiro Fujita, which was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1990 to 1996. This is the first TV anime adaptation of the battle story about a boy, Sougetsu Ushio, and a former great monster, Tora, who challenges to exterminate monsters. Directed by Satoshi Nishimura of "TRIGUN" and "The First Step" fame, series composition by Toshiki Inoue of "DEATH NOTE" and "Devil May Cry" fame, and character design by Tomoko Mori of "GARO" (guest character design). Animation production is by MAPPA and studio VOLN.

The third course (from episode 27) will start airing in April, and an advance screening of episode 27 was held at United Cinema Toyosu on March 13, 2012. At the screening, four main cast members, including Yu Hatanaka playing Ushio Sougetsu, Rikiya Koyama playing Tora, Mikako Komatsu playing Asako Nakamura, and Kiyono Anno playing Mayuko Inoue, took the stage. Looking back on episodes 1-26, they talked about episodes and memories from the recording sessions. The 27th episode, "The Wind Blows," was then previewed, and fans enjoyed the latest episode after a three-month absence.

He also announced that Megumi Hayashibara had been cast as the previously undisclosed nemesis, the White-Faced One. Ms. Hayashibara herself revealed in an audio comment, "I've been working on various strong characters, but I finally got to do the ultimate strong one. The final battle against the white-faced one will be concluded in the 39th episode at the end of June.
