TV anime "Romeo x Juliet" to distribute all 24 episodes at once on April 23!　400th Anniversary of Shakespeare's Death to be marked with the release of DVD-BOX!

The TV anime "Romeo x Juliet" will distribute all episodes for free on April 23.

Romeo x Juliet" is an original TV animation produced by GONZO in 2007. Based on Shakespeare's classic "Romeo and Juliet," it depicts the struggle between the two families as a war between the mafia, set in the modern-day floating city of Neo-Verona. The opening theme song is a Japanese cover of the world-famous song "You Raise Me Up. The game also features fully orchestrated background music by Hitoshi Sakimoto, who has composed many of the game's songs. The director is Fumitoshi Oizaki, and the series composition is by Reiko Yoshida.

In preparation for the release of a commemorative DVD-box on July 6 for 16,000 yen plus tax to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, all 24 episodes will be distributed free of charge on April 23 at 1:00 p.m. via Nico Nico Live Broadcast (http://live.nicovideo.jp/gate/lv 254393914). If the number of tweets with the hashtag (#Anime "Romeo x Juliet") exceeds 400 during the distribution, something will happen.
