Original TV anime "RS Project -Rebirth Storage-" to air in June!　Mecha anime by Fuji Television Network, DeNA, and Everista

The TV anime "RS Project -Rebirth Storage-" has been announced.

This is an original anime created by the "Let's make the mecha anime we want to see" production committee, an original TV anime production project by Fuji Television Network, DeNA, and Everista. Set in Japan in the year 2025, the story is about a boy and a girl who board a mecha developed from the wreckage of a machine in order to confront an unknown threat called "Kikaku" that has suddenly appeared. The original idea is by Roll, mechanical design by Shuichiro Sato, character design by Tsubasa Masao (DeNA), and producers are Tak Matsuo (Fuji Television Network) and Yuichiro Nogami (DeNA).

The broadcast will be as a one-off special program on Fuji Television in June.

The year is 2025 A.D.--The unknown threat "Kikaku" suddenly appeared and launched an attack on mankind, destroying many cities without a choice.Humanity is in dire straits, but the discovery of Kikaku wreckage in Japan triggers the establishment of the "Tokyo Kikaku Research Institute" (Tokiken), where research into the use of Kikaku as a weapon is conducted. The "Tokyo Kikaku Kenkyujo" (Tokyo Institute of Machine Technology) was established as a base for research on the use of machine technology as a weapon. The institute's strategy of using poison to conquer poison and machine technology to counter machine technology was humanity's only remaining hope. Nine years later. Nine years later, the "Muttsu," the main craft developed from the discovered wreckage, was about to be deployed in actual warfare. Rin Sagami, a young boy, and Yuzuru Mido, a young girl, are chosen as candidates to pilot the "Mutsu" and boldly face their assigned mission, carrying an oversized hope for the future of mankind. However, what awaits them both is a fate far too harsh...
