NoitaminA Film "Slaughter Organ", New Teaser PV Completed! New studio "Geno Studio" is now in production, replacing the bankrupt Mangrove.

A new teaser PV for "Slaughterhouse" has been released from Noitamina's "Project Itoh," an anime adaptation of the novel by the late Keisuke Ito to be released in theaters.

This project is the second noitamina movie following the blockbuster hit "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass the Movie," and is based on the original full-length novels "Slaughter Organ" and "Harmony" by the novelist Keigo Ito, who died prematurely in 2009 at the age of 34, and his 30-page preface written by his close friend and Akutagawa Prize However, the production of "Slaughterhouse Organ" was suspended and its release postponed due to the bankruptcy of Mangrove at the end of September 2015 (total debt: approximately 540 million yen). A new studio, Geno Studio, established by chief producer Koji Yamamoto in November of the same year, has since taken over the project and is currently working on it, aiming for completion by the end of 2016. The main staff, including director Shuko Murase, will continue to work on the project.

A new teaser PV has been completed. The narration is by Yuichi Nakamura, who plays the main character Clavis Shepard, and was newly recorded. The release date has not been announced, but production seems to be progressing steadily.

Director Shuko Murase's comment (reprinted)
A situation that no one could have predicted has occurred, but the fact that we have decided to continue production in this way can be thought of as an opportunity given to us by Keisuke Ito. Chief Producer Yamamoto has established "Geno Studio," and the main staff has gathered again. The entire staff is committed to producing a good work that meets everyone's expectations.
