Comments from the nine main cast members of the anime film "Digimon Adventure tri.

Digimon Adventure tri." is the latest in the Digimon series, a sequel to the original "Digimon Adventure. Set three years after the final battle against Belial Vandemon in "Digimon Adventure 02," the film tells the story of the "chosen children" (Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Mitsuro Izumi, Mimi Tachigawa, Takeshi Kido, Takeru Takaishi, and Hikari Yagami), including the main character Taichi Yagami, who is now a high school student, after their growth. The story is depicted as a film in six chapters. The film is directed by Keitaro Motonaga, with series composition by Yuko Kakihara and character design by Atsuya Uki. The cast will be renewed as the children grow up, but the first generation of Digimon partners will continue to be cast. The theme song will also be a newly recorded version of an existing song.

The first chapter, "Reunion," was a blockbuster hit, grossing 230 million yen and attracting more than 146,000 viewers, and the second chapter, "Determination," which opened in 10 theaters nationwide on March 12, is already off to a good start, grossing 46 million yen. The nine main cast members, who voice the "chosen children," commented on their impressions of the recording sessions and the film.

Chapter 2 will be shown until April 1. Chapter 3, "Confession," will be released on September 24.

Hitomi Yoshida / Playing the role of Mimi Tachigawa
I had heard that Jou and Mimi would be the main characters in the second chapter, so I was nervous at first, but when I saw Mimi and Palmon on the cover of the script, I was happy, but at the same time, I felt even more tense. During the postrecording, since it was the main episode, I had a stronger impression that I worked "together" with Kinoko-san, who played Palmon, than in the previous episode. (What scenes do you recommend?) All of them, of course! But in particular, the evolution scene between Palmon and Gomamon is a must-see! I personally love Palmon's line "I'm so sorry~", so I hope everyone will listen to it, remember it, and make use of it. I hope everyone will listen to it, learn it, and use it to their advantage. Enjoy!

Junya Ikeda / Playing the role of Takeshi Kido
When I first received the script and read it, I couldn't help but get teary-eyed at the last part. I remember I was convinced that it was going to be a very entertaining work that made me laugh and cry. During the postrecording, I had the chance to talk with Mr. Takeuchi, who played Gomamon, and we had a lot of fun acting together, and many things came out on the spot. As a Digimon fan. I had a chance to see the film and I can recommend it with all my heart and soul! The story will not betray your expectations and will make you "hot"! Please experience it for yourself!

Natsuki Hanae / Taichi Yagami
Compared to the first chapter, there are more cheerful elements, and I was reading the script with a smile on my face. Of course, there are serious parts as well, and this time the spotlight is on Mimi and Jou. I was able to empathize with them as I read the script, as it depicted their problems as high school students. The cast members were more united than in the first chapter, and the atmosphere was good! The second chapter will be even more exciting than the first, and fans can look forward to some interesting little tidbits!

Mutsushin Tamura / playing Mitsuro Izumi
The story has finally started to move! And. I'm having a lot of fun and worrying! I thought! We bump into each other and get depressed...it's hard to watch and do at the time, but it's still a good thing, isn't it? There are a lot of fun and exciting scenes, and there are also a lot of crying moments! The battle at the end is very hot! I hope you will see it in a theater, the best environment possible! I hope you will see it in the best environment possible, the theater!

Suzuko Mimori / Playing the role of Sora Takenouchi
There are many scenes where everyone goes to a hot spring together and the Digimon and the children get along well with each other in a lively atmosphere, which made me feel at home while acting. During postrecording, there were many scenes in which all the Digimon and children reacted together, so there was a big crowd in front of the only four microphones! I think this is also something that can only happen at a Digimon studio. ♪ There were some shocking developments in the story, and I was drawn into the story. In the second chapter, the story begins to move in a big way, and we can't take our eyes off of it! Especially in the second half, something unexpected happened! Please watch carefully♪♪

Junya Enoki as Takeru Takaishi
Just listening to Ikeda-san (who plays Takeru) and Takeuchi-san (who plays Gomamon) say their lines was very moving, and I thought it would be even more amazing to see the finished film in the theater. During the recording, I was moved as I sat in my chair...(laugh) I was waiting with excitement to see the movie! I myself can't wait to see it in the theater, and I am looking forward to Chapter 2 with great excitement. I am looking forward to seeing the second chapter in the theater with great excitement! I am sure that by the end of the play, you will be saying to yourself, "I can't wait to see the third chapter! It is such an interesting work, so please look forward to it!

Yoshimasa Hosoya / Yamato Ishida
I couldn't stand the way he was torn between the important choices he had to make in his life and the mission he was given. It was like he was asking the question, "What is really important to me? I felt the strength of a human being who makes choices based on his or her own conviction. After reading the script and recording in the studio, I felt that this must be the reason why the children chosen for this production were set in the age of high school students. I hope that Digimon fans will be able to feel something different from each of them. Thank you very much.

M・A・O/Hikari Yagami
I felt that everyone has their own problems and stops and moves on according to their age. I was very moved by the bond between the partners after their respective struggles, which I could feel from reading the script. And the Digimon were adorable in the recording studio this time, too! We were able to see their thoughts and feelings about how they should fight as the chosen children, and we became aware of the distance between each other once again. I believe that this is a story that we can tell now that we have come to understand the situation little by little after the "reunion". Please look forward to the second chapter!

Miho Arakawa / Playing the role of Meishin Mochizuki
Meishin has just transferred to a new school, so there are still a lot of mysteries about her, but I was happy to see that in the daily scenes in Chapter 2, we could gradually see her personality through her relationships with the other "chosen children". I was happy to be able to see her personality little by little through her interactions with the other "chosen children. During postrecording, I was amused by the rare misprints in the script during the serious scenes. For example, "Ramen" was changed to "Rahmon" and I wondered if it was a new Digimon. I wondered about the conflicts and resentments of the "chosen children" and how they would face them.... In the second chapter, Mimi and Jou-san are in the spotlight. We hope you will look forward to the story, which you will not be able to take your eyes off of until the very end.
