Original anime "ZOMI-CHAN" with Yui Ogura as a screwed-up zombie girl! Heartwarming splatter comedy about zombies in love!

The animation "Zonmi-chan" has been announced.



This is an original short anime by NEFT FILM, a joint venture established in 2012." It is a "heartwarming splatter comedy about zombies in love" and is said to target subculture girls who like cute things. Each episode is approximately 5 minutes long.

Production is by NEFT FILM, music by jeux d'eau, and sound by Sound Team Don Juan. The cast includes Yui Ogura as Zonmi-chan, a clumsy and goofy zombie girl who is interested in a non-zombie boy; Kengo Kawanishi as Dai-kun, a romantic herbivorous boy; Ayumi Murase as Tana Miyako, who is always trying to act cool but always fails in her devious tricks; and Romeko, a smart tsundere with a height and chest complex. Romeko, who has a complex about her height and breasts, is played by Yuko Gitake, and Satomi Arai plays Necro, an idiotic and energetic zombie who can run.


Broadcast and distribution methods have yet to be determined, but the first episode will be shown for the first time at the NEFT FILM booth in AnimeJapan 2016. The teaser site (http://neftfilm.com/zonmi) is currently showing photos of the voice actors recording the episode.
