The first ever full-fledged anime about men's figure skating!　Original anime "Yuri! on ICE", produced by MAPPA and Sayo Yamamoto

The anime "Yuri! on ICE" was announced.




This is an original anime by MAPPA. This is the first ever full-scale anime based on men's figure skating, and the participation of Mitsuro Kubo, a manga artist well-known for "Moteki," and Sayo Yamamoto, an animation director who worked on "Michiko and Hachin" and "LUPIN the Third: The Woman Named Fujiko Mine" has been confirmed.

More details, including a teaser visual, teaser PV, staff, and the three main cast members, will be announced on March 27 at the avexpictures booth (J45) in AnimeJapan 2016.
