The musical "Nintama Rantaro" is based on the manga "Rakudai Ninja Rantaro" by Amago Saubei and the anime "Nintama Rantaro," which has been broadcast on NHK for over 20 years. From the first production in January 2010 to the seventh production in January 2016, a total of 227 performances have been staged, with more than 162,000 people attending. It has grown into a hugely popular musical.

The highlight of the "Seventh Re-enactment" is the powerful action scenes at the new venue, Theater G Rosso in Tokyo Dome City, as well as the stomping that was newly introduced in the first performance. The production will be staged in Amagasaki, the mecca of the work, as a commemorative event for the 100th anniversary of Amagasaki City, and is also scheduled to perform in Shizuoka.

The Tokyo production will run from June 18 to July 3, the Amagasaki production from July 15 to 17, and the Shizuoka production from July 23 to 24. Tickets are all 7,000 yen (all seats reserved, tax included). For more information, please visit the official website (http://www.musical-nintama.jp/).
