The ST8000NM0055 is an 8TB capacity model in Seagate's Enterprise Capacity series of enterprise HDDs designed for 24/7 operation and high workloads.

Key specifications include a disk speed of 7,200 rpm, cache capacity of 256 MB, maximum continuous transfer rate of 237 MB/sec, mean time between failures (MTBF) of 2 million hours, and an annual failure rate (AFR) of 0.44%. Average power consumption during operation is 10W, and average power consumption during idle is 9W.
