TV anime "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" Rakugo performance at Ikebukuro Engeijo!　Demonstration of Neda (story) in the work

From the TV anime "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" currently airing, a rakugo (comic storytelling) party "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju Yose - Listen to Neeta in the Works" has been announced.



Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" is an anime work based on the manga of the same title serialized in "ITAN" by Haruko Unda. Set in the world of rakugo in the Showa era (1926-1989), the series depicts the real faces and deeds of rakugo storytellers with delicate human portrayals, and has attracted attention for the deep performances of its talented voice actors. Directed by Mamoru Hatakeyama, series composition by Jun Kumagai, character design by Mieko Hosoi, rakugo supervision by Shinpei Hayashiya, and animation production by Studio Deen.


The "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju Yose - Listen to Neeta in the Making" will be held on April 25 at Ikebukuro Engeijo in Tokyo. The event will be hosted by the Rakugo Association, and professional rakugo storytellers will perform many of the stories that appeared in the film.

The 12th episode, which is about to reach its climax, has also been released in advance of the event.
