Comment from Hironobu Kageyama (lyricist)
GARO -DIVINE FLAME-" is coming back as a movie version of "GARO -DIVINE FLAME-" on a larger scale, and we, JAM Project, have created a more powerful theme song, "Blade -the divine blade-".
I believe that we have achieved the strongest collaboration in this work, combining the stylish and beautiful visual rock feel of the anime GARO with the hard and heavy power rock of JAM Project.
As the lyricist of the song, I hope you will enjoy the beautiful and rampaging GARO, surrounded by intense rock sounds, in the dramatic space of a theater with state-of-the-art sound equipment and a big screen.

Comment from Hiroshi Kitadani (composer)
The theme for the music for the movie version was "the most intense music in the history of JAM! That was the theme of the song we were asked to write for the movie version.
The word "intense" actually depends on how you look at it.
For example, is it a classical style heavy metal style with a fast tempo, or a death metal style with a heavy beat and screaming ......? I thought that if I could take the concept of "Japanese taste" and move it in a cyber direction, add screaming voices, and give it a more live feel with a pounding call and response, it would create a new intensity that was different from anything we had done before. With the addition of the great skills of the arranger, I think we were able to challenge new possibilities for GARO and JAM.
I hope you will enjoy it at the theater or at a live performance.
