New information from the TV anime "Yuri! on ICE", new information has been released simultaneously.

on ICE" is an original anime by MAPPA. on ICE" is an original anime by MAPPA. It is the first ever full-fledged anime based on men's figure skating, and the anime will be directed by Mitsuro Kubo, a manga artist well-known for "Moteki," and Sayo Yamamoto, who worked on "Michiko and Hachin" and "LUPIN the Third: The Woman Named Fujiko Mine.

New information has been released at this time. The staff consists of the name "Mitsuro Kubo x Sayo Yamamoto" for the original idea, Mitsuro Kubo for the name (script draft) and character draft, Sayo Yamamoto for the director and series composition, Sadafumi Hiramatsu for character design, and Kenji Miyamoto for figure skating choreography. The cast includes Toshiyuki Toyonaga as the main character Yuri Katsusho, Junichi Suwabe as Victor Nikiforov, and Koki Uchiyama as Yuri Plisetsky.

The teaser visual is an illustration of the three main characters skating with various expressions on their faces. In the PV, you can see the original choreography by Kenji Miyamoto, who has won two consecutive All-Japan Figure Skating Championships in ice dancing and has choreographed for many top skaters.

I am happy that I finally have a chance to make the most of these days of skating.
