Just before the final episode!　TV anime "Osomatsu-san" talk event with Takahiro Sakurai and Daisuke Ono

A report on a talk event from the TV anime "Osomatsu-san" has arrived.



Osomatsu-san" is an original anime produced to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth. Based on "Osomatsu-kun," a gag comic published by Fujio Akatsuka in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in 1962 that became an explosive hit, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. The series became a popular title for its aggressive gags and parodies, the portrayal of the six children's diverse personalities, and the use of popular male voice actors. The heat has yet to die down, but the final episodes will be broadcast one after another starting March 28.

Takahiro Sakurai and Daisuke Ono from the cast of the six children appeared at the Avex Pictures booth at Anime Japan 2016. They reviewed the episodes so far, including the game. Below is the report.

　A "Osomatsu-san" talk event was held on the second day of Anime Japan 2016, a comprehensive anime event held on March 26 and 27!　Numbered tickets were distributed to those who purchased goods in advance on a first-come, first-served basis, but the distribution ended in the blink of an eye. The Avex Pictures booth was the venue for the event, which drew an audience of approximately 200 people. The two actors who appeared at the event were Takahiro Sakurai (Osomatsu) and Daisuke Ono (Jyushimatsu). When Mr. Ono appeared on stage, he said, "Please take care of me, Muscle Muscle! to which the audience responded with a full-throttle call!　A sense of unity was already forming in the audience. After talking about the characters he plays and the charms of the work itself, he then talked about the corner "I can only talk about the number of episodes I've watched!　Talk about the 24 episodes aired so far! The number of episodes is listed on the number tag. The number of episodes was drawn from a box, and the participants talked about the number of episodes that came up. Because the number of episodes was drawn at random, it was possible to get a number that was not often mentioned in the interviews. In particular, Mr. Ono talked about his impressions of Hatabo and Totoko in episodes 6 "Otaebi Biyobi Kai Da Joe" and 8 "Totoko's Dream," and also revealed a secret story about episode 16 "Matsunomatsunokusu," which was "a favorite story of the director and Mr. Matsubara. It was a valuable corner that allowed the audience to touch on the other aspects of the six children.

　Another corner, "The 'Osomatsu-san' Trivia Quiz! was a quiz of six questions!　There is a story in which character designer Naoyuki Asano was involved in the script among the 25 episodes. Which one is it? (The answer is "Dayon Tribe")" to "Who is the person who did not participate in the Iyami cart in "Gyakusyu no Iyami" (The answer is "Dobbs")? (The answer is "Dobbs.")" The questions ranged from those that could only be answered by watching the film in its entirety. The two participants earnestly tried to earn points. They showed their cult status by answering three difficult questions correctly each.

　Incidentally, a stuffed animal of Osomatsu and Jyushimatsu appeared on stage!　These stuffed animals made their first public appearance at the event. The audience said, "How cute! and even got a surprise when Sakurai-san and Ono-san voiced the characters live. We hope to see them again in the future. ......?

　In the final message, there was a mention of the final episode (episode 25), which is just about to air. Episode 24 ended on a serious note with "Tsudzuki" as the younger brothers became independent, leaving Osomatsu behind. Fans voiced their concerns, but Sakurai commented emphatically, "I hope everyone can see for themselves," and "Let's enjoy this 'festival' until the very end! He also commented emphatically, "Let's enjoy the "festival" until the very end! The final episode of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san" will air sequentially from midnight on the 28th.
