TV Anime "Bubuki Blanke" Sequel Production Announced! Commemorative tickets for the broadcast are now on sale at Akihabara Station!

Production of a sequel to the TV anime "Bubuki Blanki," which will start in January 2016, has been decided.



Bubuki Blanki" is an original anime produced by KADOKAWA and Sanzigen in collaboration to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the animation studio Sanzigen. It is a battle fantasy depicting the battles of boys and girls who have acquired different powers through "Bubuki," a weapon with a will, and was produced entirely in full CG animation. Directed by Daisuke Komatsuda, assistant director of "Evangelion," with character design by Yusuke Kozaki, blanke design by Tatsuya Yoshikawa, series composition and screenplay by Jiro Ishii and Yukinori Kitajima, and music by Katsu Yokoyama.


The work was highly acclaimed, winning the triple crown in the "Anipota" popularity contest, and the production of a sequel was announced in a commercial after the broadcast of the 12th episode, responding to the expectations of fans. Details will be announced in a follow-up report.

In addition, a limited edition of 2,000 sets of tickets commemorating the broadcast are now on sale at Akihabara Station on the Tsukuba Express train line. The ticket consists of a booklet with a newly drawn illustration on the cover and five hard ticket tickets, priced at 1,000 yen. After purchasing the tickets, visitors to the "Tokyo Anime Center Official Shop @AKIBA INFO." on the 2nd floor of the Akihabara DDX building will receive an original clear file.
