AKIBA_ICHI, the restaurant district of Akihabara UDX, has announced plans to celebrate its reopening.

As previously reported, "AKIBA_ICHI" will celebrate its 10th anniversary in March 2016, and a number of new restaurants will open on April 8. In conjunction with this, a reopening commemorative project will be held.

First, on April 8, Yasuda Dai Circus will appear at two restaurants, Akihabara Ramen Theater and HAMBURG STRONG. The reopening will be a great success. In addition, two LINE-based participatory projects will be prepared. In the first event (April 8-10), a fair will be held in the plaza for those who have registered as friends on Akiba Ichi LINE, and upon presentation of the screen at the booth in front of Tully's Coffee on the 1st floor, visitors can try their hand at dice throwing or ring toss to win an original Kuchifuku chopstick rest or a ticket for the fair. In the second phase (April 18-27), 100 people who register as friends on LINE (1,000 people in total) will receive a free lunch coupon (worth 1,000 yen) valid for the day of the event only, drawn daily. The winners are free to choose which restaurant they would like to eat at.
