The film, which opened on March 12 on 380 screens nationwide, surpassed the 1 billion yen mark in its third week on March 28, with a total of 880,493 moviegoers and 1,052,683,200 yen in box office receipts as of March 28. With the spring break coming up, more and more people are coming to the theater with friends and couples, and postings on social networking sites are reportedly spreading about how impressed they were.
