Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" is a new anime work based on the TV animation "Space Battleship Yamato 2199," which was produced based on the classic "Space Battleship Yamato" of yesteryear and became a huge hit as a movie version. Other details are unknown, but as the title suggests, it is likely to be a sequel series.

The currently known staff includes Shoji Nishizaki as executive producer, Nobuyoshi Habara, director of "Blue Sky Fafner" and "Break Blade," and Harutoshi Fukui, writer of the novel "Mobile Suit Gundam UC," as series director and screenwriter. Below are their comments.
