An anime adaptation of "FINAL FANTASY XV" will be released in July as the animated film "KINGSGLAIVE FINAL FANTASY XV."

This is the title of the anime adaptation of "FINAL FANTASY XV" for PS4/Xbox One, which will be released on September 30. It is a full CG feature film that shares the same world and time as the game, and was produced by the same team as the game. The story is told from the perspective of King Regis in the anime and Prince Noctis, the son of King Regis, in the game, depicting the bond between father and son. Produced by Hata Tabata, directed by Takeshi Nozue, script by Takashi Hasegawa, music by John Graham, and main theme by Yoko Shimomura. The theaters are Shinjuku Wald 9, Umeda Burg 7, and others.

A short animation "BROTHERHOOD FINAL FANTASY XV" was also announced. It depicts the boyhood of Prince Noctis (CV: Tatsuo Suzuki), Prompto (CV: Tetsuya Kakihara), Ignis (CV: Mamoru Miyano), Gladiolus (CV: Kenta Miyake) and their friends, from a different perspective from both the main game and "KINGSGLAIVE FINAL FANTASY XV". The first chapter was released free of charge on March 31 on the official "FINAL FANTASY XV" website, with a total of five chapters to be released by September 30. The film is produced by A-1 Pictuers, directed by Soichi Masui of "Chaika of the Coffin Princess" and character designed and supervised by Shinichi Kurita of "Death Parade.

<Story.
The magical nation of Lucis possesses the sacred crystal. The Niflheim Empire, which seeks to make the crystal its own. The two nations have had a long history of warfare. The "King's Sword," a special unit under the direct control of King Regis of Lucis. Nix Ulick and the other members of the "King's Sword" were using their magical powers to fight off the advancing Niflheim forces. However, Regis was forced to make a difficult decision in the face of overwhelming forces. The marriage of Prince Noctis and Princess Luna of Tenebrae under Niflheim's rule, and the abandonment of all territories except Insomnia, the capital of Niflheim. In Insomnia, which has been transformed into a battlefield beyond human knowledge by Niflheim's schemes, Nix heads for a battle for the survival of the Kingdom of Lucis amidst the intermingling of their respective agendas. All for the sake of the "future king.
