Bak-ON! is an anime work based on a manga by Orimoto Mimana, which is serialized in Young Champion Isetsu. It is a coming-of-age story set in a girls' high school motorcycle club, in which the main character, who is interested in motorcycles, is supported by her unique friends as she leads a life of motorcycling. Five motorcycle manufacturers (Kawasaki, Suzuki, Ducati, Honda, and Yamaha) and other motorcycle-related companies fully cooperate in the animation. The series is directed by Junji Nishimura of "Arrest me!", composed by Kurasumi Sunayama of "Z/X IGNITION", character design by Isao Sugimoto of "Girls und Panzer", and animation production by TMS.
