The new Xeon E5 v4 CPU series for servers is now available!

The new Xeon E5 v4 series of CPUs for servers and workstations, code-named Broadwell-EP, is now available from Intel.




The Xeon E5 v4 series is a server and workstation CPU based on the Broadwell microarchitecture, featuring up to 22 internal CPU cores, up to 55 MB of cache capacity, and memory support up to DDR4 2400 MHz. The manufacturing process is 14nm.


The same LGA2011 v3 socket and chipset support as the previous generation Xeon E5 v3 series are available, but a BIOS update is required.
