Berserk" and "Berserk Golden Age Arc" Blu-ray BOX Jacket Images Unveiled!　Newly drawn by Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Naoyuki Onda!

The jacket image of the Blu-ray box set from the "Berserk" series has been revealed.



Berserk" is an anime work based on Kentaro Miura's manga serialized in Young Animal since 1989. It is a dark fantasy with a profound storyline, appealing characters, and overwhelmingly detailed drawings, and depicts the hero Guts' fierce way of life with flashy action and passionate human drama. The series has been animated twice before: in 1997 with the TV anime "Kenpu Denki Berserk" (25 episodes), and in 2012 with the anime film trilogy "Berserk Golden Age Arc I: The High King's Egg," "Berserk Golden Age Arc II: The Doldrey War," and "Berserk Golden Age Arc III: The Descent," and in July 2016, the new TV series will start in July 2016.

The jacket images of the past Blu-ray BOXes have now been unveiled: the "Kenpu Denki Berserk" Blu-ray BOX Special Price Edition [limited time only], released on Wednesday, April 20, was drawn by Yoshihiko Umakoshi, and the "Berserk Golden Age Arc" Blu-ray BOX, released on Wednesday, June 22, was drawn by Naoyuki Onda Naoyuki Onda for the "Berserk Golden Age Arc" Blu-ray BOX to be released on June 22.
