Summer Anime "Amanchu! Cast includes Eri Suzuki, Ai Chino, Saori Onishi, Yuichiro Umehara, and more!　A joint event with "ARIA" will also be held.

The TV anime "Amanchu! has been unveiled, including cast members, character setting drawings, and event information.



Amanchu! is an anime work based on the manga by Kozue Amano, known for "ARIA," which has been adapted into several anime series. It is an everyday life story set in the "diving club" of a high school on the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture, and is directed by Junichi Sato of the "ARIA" and "Tamayura" series, directed by Kenichi Kasai of "Hachimitsu to Clover" and "Bakuman", written by Deko Akao of the "Noragami" series, with character design The animation will be produced by J.C. STAFF.


The cast includes Eri Suzuki as Hikaru Kohinata, who is cheerful at his own pace; Ai Chino as Futaba Oki, who has a negative attitude and is easily intimidated; Saori Onishi as Ai Ninomiya, the head of the diving club with a blunt tongue in cheek attitude; Yuichiro Umehara as Makoto Ninomiya, Ai's twin brother; and Shizuka Ito as the diving club advisor, Makoto Hidori, whose motto is "Fun is infinite. The club's mascot cat, Advisor Cha, is played by Yurika Kubo, and Hikaru's grandmother, Kino Kohinata, is played by Kikuko Inoue. Comments have also arrived.

In addition, a joint event with "ARIA" will be held on June 12 (Sun.). The venue is Harmony Hall Zama in Zama City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

My name is Ai Chino, and I will be playing the role of Futaba Oki.

Saori Onishi (Ai Ninomiya)
I will be playing the role of Ai Ninomiya in "Amanchu! I am Saori Onishi and I will be playing the role of Ai Ninomiya in "Amanchu! When I read the original story, I thought it had a very nice atmosphere. I have never experienced diving, but just reading the manga made me feel like I was in the ocean myself. I am now looking forward to participating in the work because high school life is depicted with diving at the center, and the characters are all so sparkling and attractive! I hope to spend a wonderful summer with everyone through Ai-chan.

Yuichiro Umehara (playing Makoto Ninomiya)
I am very honored to play the role of Makoto Ninomiya. As the only male member of the diving club, I hope I can contribute to the production.
When I read the original story, I was first attracted by the relaxed atmosphere that flows through the work. I would like to keep that atmosphere in mind when I play the role of Makoto Ninomiya, who lives in that atmosphere.As a viewer, I am also looking forward to seeing how the beauty of the sea in Ito City, the setting of the animation, will be depicted in the animation.Makoto Ninomiya has an older sister, but this will be the first time for me to play such a role, so I am looking forward to interacting with Onishi-san, who plays the older sister, Ai Ninomiya.

I am pleased to announce that I will be playing the role of Kino Kohinata, the grandmother of Hikaru-chan in "Amanchu! I am Kikuko Inoue, 17 years old, and I will be playing the role of Kino Kohinata, grandmother of Hikaru-chan in "Aman-chu!
Kino is a grandmother, but she exudes a very rock 'n' roll vibe, so ...... that makes it both difficult and rewarding, and it's a very sobering experience.
