i☆Ris reports on their 2nd album release event!　The first performance of a vampire number at the church square!

An event report of the voice-over idol unit "i☆Ris" has been released.



i☆Ris is a popular female unit formed by 6 members who passed the "1st Animation Song Vocal Audition" jointly held by Avex Group and 81 Produce in July 2012. In addition to energetically performing live and at events, they are expanding their activities as idols and voice actors, with all members playing major roles in the TV anime "Pripara.


On Wednesday, April 20, their second album "Th!s!s i☆Ris!（The venue was filled with excitement as i☆Ris performed four songs, including a new song inspired by a vampire. From April 24 (Sun), they will start a 6-city tour throughout Japan, and on November 25 (Fri), they will hold a live concert at Nippon Budokanto celebrate the4thanniversary of theirdebut. Seiyu idol unit "i☆Ris" held a live event at Venus Fort Church Square in Odaiba, Tokyo on November 9.
They released their 2nd album "Th!s !s i☆Ris! (released on April 20). This was the second time for i☆Ris to hold an event at this venue since January this year.

At the beginning of the event, the six members appeared through the majestic church-like doorway wearing the costumes from the album "Th!s ! album.
Their balloon skirts were fluttered and fluttered in each member's color, and their fresh and cute image suited the smiling members of i☆Ris well.

The mini live started with "Dream Parade", the opening theme song of the 2nd season of the anime "Pripara" in which the 6 members act as voice actors.
Then "Baby..." followed. showed a cool side of them as they danced sharply to the rock-inspired dance number.

Vampire Lady," which was performed for the first time, is a new song included in the album "Th!s ! and it fit the image of the church plaza of the event perfectly.
Yamakita said with enthusiasm, "We talked about how we wanted to be particular about the choreography of this song, and we were looking forward to performing it today! I was looking forward to performing it today!
The dance was also very particular. The song included a story about Kubota, dressed as a vampire, biting Wakai and giving birth to a new vampire (......), which excited the audience even though it was the first performance of the song.

During the MC, Yamakita revealed some behind-the-scenes stories: "When Yuki-chan (Wakai) was bitten by Miyu-tan (Kubota) and turned into a vampire, we studied her facial expressions a lot (laugh)," and the venue was filled with laughter.

The live ended with "Bright Fantasy" and the audience clapped their hands in unison for a quick 20 minutes.

i☆Ris has recently won the "10th Seiyu Award for Best Song" and has been gaining more and more attention. After the album release, they will start a Zepp tour at the end of April in five major cities in Japan, and in November, they will perform at Budokan.
