Gundam-san" parodies famous scenes and characters from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series. Based on the manga "Mobile Suit Gundam-san," which has been serialized in Gundam Ace since 2001, it was adapted into a short anime from July to September 2014. To celebrate the release of the Blu-ray/DVD on April 22 and the latest 14 volumes of the comics on April 26, the event "Seira-san ni najirete NIGHT" was held at the Gundam Cafe in Akihabara.

On Tuesday, April 5, an event called "Seira-san ni Nagejirare NIGHT" was held at the Gundam Cafe in Akihabara to celebrate the release of the Blu-ray and DVD of "Gundam-san" and the latest 14th volume of the "Mobile Suit Gundam-san" comic series.

In addition to the rare opportunity to have Seira-san give you a "live jizuri," the event also featured a limited revival of the menu items from the "Gundam-san Campaign" held in the past at the Gundam Cafe. The venue was packed with Gundam fans. First of all, the MC, Mr. Ota of Volcano, warmed up the venue with a chant of "Sieg piyo! then Kaori Nazuka, who plays the role of Seira-san, Mankyu-san, the director and screenwriter, and Hideki Owada, the author of the manga "Mobile Suit Gundam-san," appeared on stage. The event was titled "Seira-san ni naze nite," and the first topic of discussion was the image of Seira-san by the audience. After the "live najiri" performance, Nazuka said, "During recording, the cast members are behind me and the staff is in the booth, so I can say embarrassing lines with all my might, but in front of everyone watching me, it's quite embarrassing (laughs).
