Three motherboard models with unique OC features are available from ASRock!

Three motherboard models with unique overclocking features are now available from ASRock.

The lineup includes the Fatal1ty H170 Performance/Hyper and H170 Pro4/Hyper with Intel's H170 chipset , and the Fatal1ty E3V5 Performance Gaming/OC" with Intel's C232 chipset.

All three models are equipped with the Hyper BCLK Engine, a clock generator for CPU overclocking, and DDR4 Non-Z OC, which enables DDR4 memory overclocking even on non-Z170 motherboards. This feature enables overclocking of DDR4 memory even on chipsets other than the H170 and C232, which do not support overclocking.

The Fatal1ty H130 H170 and C232 chipsets are not overclockable, but there are some restrictions during overclocking, such as the CPU video function, Turbo Ratio, AVX, and C-State functions being disabled.

The Fatal1ty H170 Performance/Hyper is based on the company's top-of-the-line H170 motherboard , the Fatal1ty H170 Performance, which features a 10-phase power circuit and Nichicon 12K Platinum capacitors.

Main specifications includetwo PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion slots and three PCI Express 3.0 x1 expansion slots , and four DDR4-2133 DIMMs of memory (up to 64GB).Other features include 6 SATA 6Gbps, 1 SATA Express, 1 Ultra M.2, Gigabit LAN, 7.1-channel sound, USB 3.0 (Type-A, Type-C), USB 2.0, and PS/2 ports.


The H170 Pro4/Hyper is based on the company's standard H170M Pro4 model.

Main specifications include two PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion slots and three PCI Express 3.0 x1 expansion slots, and four DDR4-2133 DIMMs of memory (up to 64GB). Other features include 6 SATA 6Gbps, 1 SATA Express, 1 Ultra M.2, Gigabit LAN, 8-channel sound, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and PS/2 ports.


The Fatal1ty E3V5 Performance Gaming/OC model is equipped with the Intel C232 chipset for servers and workstations, and supports Core i7/i5/i3, Pentium, Celeron, and Xeon E3-1200 v5 series. In addition to Core i7/i5/i3, Pentium and Celeron, it also supports Xeon E3-1200 v5 series.

Main specifications include one PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion slot, one PCI Express 3.0 x4 (x16 configuration) slot, and three PCI Express 3.0 x1 slots, and four DDR4-2133 DIMMs of memory (up to 64GB/ECC supported). No monitor output terminal is provided. Other features include SATA 6Gbps x 6, Gigabit LAN, 7.1-channel sound, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and PS/2 ports.
