Spring Anime "My Hero Academia" OP Video Distribution Starts on the Web!　Episode 3 scene cut and director Nagasaki's comment also available!

The TV anime "My Hero Academia," which will start in April, has started distributing its OP video on the web. The preceding scene cut from the third episode and comments from director Nagasaki have also arrived.



My Hero Academia" is an anime work based on the manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Kohei Horikoshi. Set in a world where 80% of the world's population has some kind of idiosyncrasy, the story follows the hero, who has no idiosyncrasy of any kind, as he aims to become a hero against criminals who abuse his idiosyncrasies. Directed by Kenji Nagasaki, series composition by Yosuke Kuroda, character design by Yoshihiko Umakoshi, and animation production by BONES, the series airs every Sunday at 17:00 on the "Nichi5" slot.

The opening video is now available on the web. The opening theme "THE DAY" by Porno Graffitti is sung to the accompaniment of the main character, Izuhisa Midoriya, No. 1 hero All Might, and Izuhisa's childhood friend Katsumi Bakugo, all of whom appear one after another and move around at a dizzying pace.
