TV anime "Kumamiko", ED coupling song is V-kei Ondo! A festive ondo featuring a shrine maiden, a bear, and a drunken man on a spree!

The jacket and coupling music information for the ED theme of the TV anime "Kumamiko," which will start in April, have been announced.

Kumamiko" is an anime work based on the manga series published in the monthly comic flapper magazine by Masume Yoshimoto. Set in a village deep in the mountains of the Tohoku region, the story depicts the "fluffy country life" of Machi Ameshuku (CV: Natsumi Hioka), a junior high school student who serves as a shrine maiden at a shrine dedicated to bears, and her guardian, Natsu, a brown bear (CV: Hiroki Yasumoto). Directed by Kiyoshi Matsuda, script by Pierre Sugiura and Masao Iketani, character design and chief animation director by Hiroyuki Saita, and produced by Kinema Citrus and EMT Squared.

The ending theme "Kumamiko Dancing" will be released on Wednesday, May 25, and details of the song that will be included as a coupling have been revealed. The title of the song is "Trivial Breakup Ondo," and it is a "V-kei ondo" that mixes the incantation-like melody sung by Machi, Natsu's pompous singing, and the increasingly drunken chorus of Matsu-san (CV: Rei Naito) to create a festive atmosphere. Together with "Kumamiko Dancing," it is sure to be a fun one.
