Spring Anime "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle" Event at Tower Records Shibuya Store! Exhibition of original drawings and storyboards, sales of collaboration goods, etc.

An event has been announced for the TV anime "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle," which will start in April.



Kabaneri of the Iron Castle" is a new original anime for Fuji Television's "Noitamina" slot. Set in the island nation of Hinomoto, where steam engines have developed, this steampunk action series depicts boys and girls boarding the armored steam locomotive "Kabaneri" to fight against the "Kabaneri," living corpses with hearts of steel. Directed by Tetsuro Araki of "Shinkage no Kyojin" fame,
series composition by Ichiro Okochi of "Code Geass" fame, character design by Haruhiko Mikimoto of "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross" fame, and animation production by WIT STUDIO.


The "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle Exhibition MEETS TOWER RECORDS SHIBUYA" will be held at the Tower Records Shibuya store. In addition to exhibits such as the ED illustration by Haruhiko Mikimoto, the character's original designer, original reproductions, a replica of the "tsuranuki tube" used by the main character to shoot enemies, and storyboards from the first episode, limited-edition goods and collaboration drinks will be on sale. On May 4 (Wed.), a talk event will be held with Yu Hatanaka, who plays the main character Ikoma, and Ayaka Sembongi, who plays the heroine Mumyo.

The anime portal "Anipota," operated by Akiba Research Institute, is currently holding a " Best of Director Tetsuro Araki " event. Please be sure to vote for your favorite anime among the 10 titles directed by Araki, including "Kabaneri of the Iron Castle" and "Shinketsu no Kyojin!

Priority tickets with a serial number will be distributed at "SpaceHACHIKAI" on the 8th floor from 10:00 on the day of the event.
Admission fee of 600 yen will be charged at the time of distribution of numbered priority tickets.
Priority tickets with numbered seating are limited to one per person.
Numbered priority tickets will be distributed at random.
Customers without numbered priority tickets will be admitted after those with numbered priority tickets are shown the door.
Please note that you may not be able to see some of the exhibits during the event due to the venue. Please understand.
Regular business hours after the event are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
