TV anime "Ushio-Tora" reveals figures for BD/DVD full-length purchase bonus!　Reproduction of Tora being stabbed by the beast's spear!

The TV anime "Ushio-Tora," which has been in its third season since April, has revealed the figures that will be available as a bonus with the purchase of all BD/DVD volumes.



Ushio-Tora" is an anime work based on the famous manga series by Kazuhiro Fujita, which was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1990 to 1996. This is the first TV anime adaptation of the battle action story about a boy, Sougetsu Ushio, and a former great monster, Tora, as they try to exterminate ghosts. Directed by Satoshi Nishimura of "TRIGUN" and "The First Step"; series composition by Toshiki Inoue of "DEATH NOTE" and "Devil May Cry"; character design by Tomoko Mori of "GARO" (guest character design); animation production by MAPPA and studio VOLN. The series will consist of 39 episodes in 2-cour plus 1-cour format.

The figure, a Blu-ray and DVD purchase bonus, is a recreation of the memorable scene in the first episode where Ushio and Tora meet and Tora is stabbed by the beast's spear. The figure is about 20 cm in length, and the facial expression and fine fur on the body are elaborately crafted, showing the high degree of perfection of the figure. It will be given away to all who purchase and apply for the Blu-ray & DVD volumes 1 to 7 and volume 8 (released on April 27) to the final volume 13 (released on September 28), and will also be displayed for two weeks from April 22 in front of the information desk of the anime corner on the 7th floor of Tower Records Shinjuku store.
