Additional characters/cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Usakame," which will start in April.



Usakame" is a short anime based on a manga serialized in the digital comic Earth Star. It is a coming-of-age comedy about four girls who belong to the Usakame High School tennis club, and is positioned as an official rival to the high tension comedy "Teikyu" serialized in the same magazine.

Aozora Tokui has been cast as the tennis club advisor, Sora Shibakusa, who will appear in the fourth episode on May 2, Tokui said, "I am very happy to be cast as Usakame!　Moreover, the advisor, Mr. Shibakusa, whose name is Sora, drinks a lot of beer, so I feel very close to him!　I feel as if I have a new little sister all at once, and I'm very excited! （I'm so excited now that I feel as if I have a new little sister all at once!
