Original TV animation "RS Project -Rebirth Storage-", main staff & cast announced! Koki Uchiyama, Sumire Uesaka, Mai Nakahara, Satoshi Hino, Ayane Sakura, Takanori Hoshino

The main staff and cast of the TV anime "RS Project -Rebirth Storage-" have been announced.

RS Project -Rebirth Storage-" is an original anime created by Fuji Television Network, DeNA, and Everista as part of their original TV anime production project "Let's make the mecha anime we want to see! Set in Japan in the year 2025, the story is about a boy and a girl who board a mecha developed from the wreckage of a machine in order to confront an unknown threat called "Kikaku" that has suddenly appeared .

The main staff and cast have now been unveiled. Osamu Kamei, who has participated in many mecha anime such as "Cross Ange: The Angel and the Dragon Dance" (storyboard) and "Gundam: G Reconguista" (direction), will direct, and Miyuki Kishimoto of "Ushio-Tora" will write the script. Already announced staff members include Roll (original plan), Shuichiro Sato (mechanical design), Tsubasa Masao (character design), and Tak Matsuo (Fuji TV) and Yuichiro Nogami (DeNA) as producers.

The cast includes Koki Uchiyama as Rin Sagami, the boy on the right, and Sumire Uesaka as Yugen Midou, the girl on the left, along with Mai Nakahara, Satoshi Hino, Ayane Sakura, and Takanori Hoshino.

Although "RS Project -Rebirth Storage-" is a one-episode special broadcast, there is a lot packed into that one episode. Before recording began, I asked the staff about the details of this project up to now, and the cast all felt the challenging thoughts of the staff. I hope that this work will be loved by viewers for a long time to come. Please look forward to it.

Sumire Uesaka as Yugen Mido
When I watch a robot anime, what I look forward to the most is "a situation that can't be helped, but is overcome by mecha and people's passion. The mecha are uniquely designed, and each character has a different background, creating a deep worldview. We hope you will support "RS Project -Rebirth Storage-"!

■Director Osamu Kamei
I can only say one thing about this project: "I was given a chance as a director. In the process of storyboarding the film, I was concerned about how I could make it into a spectacular work within the limited time frame, while taking into account the scenario and Mr. Rolle's original idea. I think we have succeeded if we can express the appropriate sense of scale and the original "catharsis of mecha animation" in the film. The entire staff is hard at work on this project, so please take a look.

Miyuki Kishimoto, scriptwriter
When I was shown Laure's original plan at the first meeting, I was really struggling to find a way to fit this deep worldview into the film's scale. It would be meaningless to simply digest the story, but we couldn't just run away with it for one episode. It was difficult but fun to create a structure that would include drama and give the audience hope for future developments. This is the first step for "RS Project -Rebirth Storage-. We hope you will support us so that we can deliver even more expansions to you.
