Results of the popular vote "Best of Director Tensai Okamura" announced!　No. 1 is the spring anime "Chromium Chromium" and No. 2 is a masterpiece broadcast in 2007!

Anime portal "Anipota" operated by Akiba Research Instituteheld a popularity vote project "Best of Director Tensai Okamura" in commemoration of theTV anime " Chromium Chromium" that will start inApril.Here are the results of the voting.

The winner of the close race was the new work "Chrome Chrome, " an original TV animation produced to commemorate the 15th anniversary of P.A. WORKS. The story centers on Yukina, a high school sophomore, and Tokisada, a samurai who wakes up from a long sleep. The series had attracted a great deal of attention even before it aired, but the excitement generated during the broadcast seems to have contributed to the results.

In second place was "DARKER THAN BLACK -Black Contractor," which aired from April to September 2007. This dark fantasy depicts the fate of "contractors" who acquire different abilities in exchange for human-like emotions and contractual consideration. As the title "darker than black" suggests, the harsh yet dramatic story is one of its major attractions. The unexpected twists and turns, shadowy characters, powerful action scenes, and magnificent music have all been highly acclaimed and have made it instantly popular. It is still widely supported as one of the masterpieces of the genre, and even beat out major titles such as "The Seven Deadly Sins.
