Soccer Anime "DAYS" Adds Daisuke Ono, Mamoru Miyano, Takahiro Sakurai to Cast! PV adds voices for the main character
Additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime "DAYS," which will start in July.
DAYS" is ananime work based on a high school soccer manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine by Takeshi Yasuda. It is a coming-of-age drama about an ordinary boy who enrolls in a prestigious soccer club and develops friendships with the club members, all of whom are full of peculiarities. Directed by "Kick Off to the Galaxy! (ONE PIECE THE MOVIE Karakuri Jou no Mecha Giant), character design by Kazuto Nakazawa of "Kuroko no Basket" and "Zankin no Terror," and animation production by MAPPA.
Three additional cast members have now been released. Daisuke Ono plays Atsushi Kimishita, the cool commanding leader who reigns at the top; Mamoru Miyano plays Kiichi Oshiba, a large, self-assured forward; and Takahiro Sakurai plays Yuta Usui, the brainy defender and vice-captain. In addition, Takuto Yoshinaga's voice as Tsukushi Emoto has been added to the PV, and his performance is sure to attract attention as he is just 16 years old and has been selected to play the lead role in his first regular season.
