Autumn Anime "Toukendanbu - Hanamaru-", the second teaser visual is released!　Exhibiting at Machi★Asobi from May 3 to 5

The second teaser visual for the TV anime "Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru," which will start in October, has been released.



Since its launch on January 14, 2015, " Touken Ranbu" has beengaining explosive popularity, especially among women, for its attractive male characters with rich personalities and relationships based on historical facts. The TV anime "Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru" is directed by Takashi Naotani (first-time director of a TV anime series), with character design by Junichiro Taniguchi, series composition and script by Pierre Sugiura, and production by Animation Studio. In addition, "Sword Dance (tentative title)," produced by ufotable, is scheduled to air by the end of 2017.

The second teaser visual will be unveiled at Machi★Asobi vol. 16, which will be held in Tokushima City from May 3 (Tue.) to 5 (Thu.). It depicts Yasusada Yamatomori (CV: Mitsuhiro Ichirai) and Kiyomitsu Kashu (CV: Toshiki Masuda), the favorite swordsman of the Shinsengumi and Soji Okita, dressed in their battle uniforms and holding their swords with dignity. Mitsuhiro Ichirai, Pierre Sugiura, and Deji Tarou, the producer of the original work, will appear at the event to be held at East Park from 1:30 p.m. on the 5th to talk about the behind-the-scenes production and the appeal of the characters.
