TV anime "Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro" announces additional cast members!　Hideta Morishima, Erii Yamazaki, Ebuki Kido, Subaru Kimura

Additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro" currently airing on TV.



Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro" is an anime work based on a manga (original idea: Yipiao / manga: Yujiro Koyama) serialized in "Shonen Jump +". It comedically depicts Katsumata Agetaro, the third generation owner of a tonkatsu restaurant in Shibuya, who finds commonalities between tonkatsu and club DJing, and his struggle to become a full-fledged professional in both fields. The director has also directed "Sexy Commando-Gaiden: Amazing! Masaru-san" and "Gag Manga Days," while Daisuke Fujiwara of the DJ/producer unit MU-STARS handles the music. Animation production is by Studio Deen.

The show has featured a number of guest voice actors, including ANI of Schadaraparr and Ichiro Yatsui of Electric Comic, and now an additional regular cast member has been announced. The cast includesHideta Morishima,Erii Yamazaki,Ebuki Kido, andSubaru Kimura, all of whom have expressed their enthusiasm for the show in their comments.

What do you think about the character you are playing and how do you feel about playing the role?
Yi Dong-myung is an EDM nobleman from Seoul! I think he is a cool and lovable DJ who is also a natural idiot. Playing his role made me more interested in club music and Korean culture! I want to eat tteokbokki!

Erii Yamazaki as Satomi Amano

◆What do you think of the character you play and how do you feel about playing it?
My character, Satomi Amano, is a DJ who plays sweet and cute songs in themodel DJ unit "AMAKARA". It was difficult to create a gentle and fluffy girlish image in a fast-paced dialogue.

◆Message to the audience
Ifoundit very interesting that the story progresses by comparing DJs to tonkatsu (pork cutlets).I learned a lot about new culture through this work. The passionate friendship between the characters is also a highlight of the film. I hope you enjoy watching "Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro".

Ebi Kido as Shiori Karasawa

◆What do you think of the character you play and how do you feel about playing the role?
My name is Ebi Kido, and I play the role of Shiori Karasawa. Shiori is a cool, calm and cool girl who is in charge of the DJ unit AMAKARA. It is an unusual role for me and it was very fresh and fun to play.

What do you think of the character you play and how do you feel about playing him?
I'm like a kid general of the DJ world. In other words, leave it to me. I was very, very happy to meet the moving Ikenosuke. Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro is the best! BUKURONX NATION the best!
