Takekotsuya Akihabara Branch, a family-style ramen restaurant along Chuo-dori, closes today, Monday, May 9.

The location is along Chuo-dori Avenue, next to Trader Akihabara's main store and Iosys Akiba Chuodori Store.

Takekotsuya Akihabara is a family-style ramen restaurant operated by Kenko Corporation, which operates ramen shops and Chinese restaurants. The restaurant closed about a year and two months after opening on March 18, 2015.

According to the notice posted at the entrance of the restaurant, "We will be closing our restaurant as of today, May 9. (omission) The neighboring store, Tokyo Dome-mae Store, will remain open and we look forward to serving you. We look forward to your continued patronage of Takekotsuya".
