ESP comedy "Saiki Kusuo no Ψ難" to be adapted into a TV anime in July! Hiroshi Kamiya, Daisuke Ono, Nobunaga Shimazaki, and others to appear in the series!

TV anime "Saiki Kusuo no Ψ難" will be broadcast from July.



The manga is a gag manga by Shuichi Aso, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2012. The manga depicts the heartwarming daily lives of a high school boy who lives his life hiding his supernatural abilities and the unique characters in the series. A live-action film adaptation is also in the works.


A TV anime adaptation has now been announced. The staff is directed by the director, who also directed "Kai! Cromartie High School" and "The Chairman is a Maid! and "The Chairman is a Maid!"; series composition by Michiko Yokote of "SHIROBAKO" and "Jailhouse Gakuen"; and character design by Hiroaki Sakurai of "Kai! Cromartie High School" and "Kimi to Boku. The cast includes Hiroshi Kamiya as Kusuo Saiki, who can control various supernatural powers; Daisuke Ono as Riki Kindo, a "mysterious idiot" who cannot read Kusuo's thoughts; Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shun Kaito, a chuunibyou who everyone knows is a chuunibyou; and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shun Kusuo, who is good at telling his boss off. Kusuo's father, Kuniharu Saiki, is played by Mitsuo Iwata, and Kusuo's mother, Kurumi Saiki, is played by Rikako Aikawa.

From July, the series will air on TV Tokyo's live morning program "Ohasuta," a 30-minute program that will include all five episodes and air late at night on Sundays.
