Summer Anime "Arslan Senki: Fubuki Ranbu" Announces Cast of New Characters!　Toru Inada, Tetsuaki Genda, Souma Saito

New characters/cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Arslan Senki: Fuujin Ranbu" which will start in July.



Arslan Senki" is an anime work based on a manga serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine by Yoshiki Tanaka of "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" (original story) and Hiroshi Arakawa of "Fullmetal Alchemist" (artwork). It is an epic historical fantasy depicting the growth and scheming of Arslan, a boy prince who was forced to flee his country, through his journey to retake the royal capital with only a few companions. The first season aired from April to September 2015 on "Nichi 5," and the second season will air on Sundays from 5:00 p.m. on MBS/TBS networks of 28 stations nationwide. Directed by Noriyuki Abe, series composition by Makoto Uezu, chief character design by Shingo Ogiso, and animation production by Raiden Film.

Three new character cast members have been unveiled. All are warriors of the Tulan Nation, which is hostile to Arslan's home country of Pulse. The ambitious general Ilterish, who fights like a maniac, is played by Toru Inada, the 14th King of Tulan Toktmish by Tetsuaki Genda, and the general Jimsa, who looks younger than his actual age, by Souma Saito.
