A report on the stage greeting from theanime film "Ajin : Collision" has arrived.



Ajin" is an anime work based on the manga series by Sakurai Gamon in "good! Polygon Pictures, which gained worldwide acclaim for "Knights of Sidonia," produced the film version as a trilogy, the first part "Ajin -Impulse-" was released in November 2015, and the TV series will be broadcast from January 2016. The general director is Hiroyuki Seshimo of "Knights of Sidonia," the director is Hiroaki Ando of "Short Peace," and the series composition is by Koji Seko of "Seraph of the End. This science fiction suspense film features a high school boy, Kei Nagai, who turns out to be a "subhuman," an unknown new creature that never dies, and depicts a battle between subhumans, who are hunted by all mankind, and mankind, who sees them only as objects of study.

The film's opening day greetings were also held on May 6, and now the footage from the May 7 commemorative greetings has arrived. Mamoru Miyano, who plays Kei Nagai, and Takahiro Sakurai, who plays Masaru Tosaki, a member of the Ajin Management Committee that pursues Nagai, took the stage. The scene in the latter half of the film where Kei Nagai, played by Mamoru Miyano, and Gou Nakano, played by Jun Fukuyama, rush to Tosaki's side. Coincidentally, they chose the same scene as their best scene.
Mr. Miyano: "Kei has been chased by the subhuman control committee since Part 1, and all he can think about is hiding and hiding, but in Part 2, when Kei finally takes active action as a subhuman, this scene was very impressive.
Sakurai: "If I had to choose a scene from Part 2, this one immediately came to mind. This live interaction between Kei Nagai, Gou Nakano, and Tozaki, I think there are probably many people who would choose this scene as their favorite scene.

(A scene in the middle of Part 2) Kei is being hunted by the Subhuman Control Committee as an subhuman, and while he is hiding in the countryside, Gou Nakano, another subhuman, notices Kei's presence and comes to the countryside to defeat Sato together. In the scene, Nakano poisoned the subhuman who came all the way to visit him and locked him in a truck.
Mr. Miyano: "I am shocked when people say 'scum, scum' about me... (laughs). Now that I know I'm a subhuman, I just want to live a quiet life without bothering anyone..."

Mr. Sakurai's version: (Scene from the middle of Part 1) Izumi Shimomura, an Ajin on the side of the Ajin Management Committee and Tozaki's bodyguard, battles the "black ghost = IBM" of Ajin Tanaka, a servant of Ajin Sato. Izumi is a little embarrassed, and Tozaki responds with salt.
Sakurai: "Tozaki is indeed salty, but in this scene, Izumi Shimomura is portrayed in a cute way. I can't get over the fact that she is a little embarrassed! (laugh) I know it was in the midst of a bleak production situation, but you can clearly see that the staff poured so much love into this scene of Izumi Shimomura.

Sakurai: "Thank you very much for coming to the theater today. I am honored to be a part of "Ajin", which is a very special work, and I have come to feel the great human issue of life and death. It is a work that has had such a great impact on me that my way of thinking has changed so much before and after my participation in it. I hope that you will look forward to the third part of this work, as the unimaginable will happen again when Tosaki and Nagai team up at the conclusion of the second part.
