Summer anime "Arslan Senki: Fujin Ranbu" to feature Satoshi Hino and Ai Chino! Mini reading plays will also be available for a limited time.

New characters/casts, a reading play, etc. have been announced for the TV anime "Arslan Senki: Fubuki Ranbu" which will start in July.



Arslan Senki" is an anime work based on a manga serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine by Yoshiki Tanaka of "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" (original story) and Hiroshi Arakawa of "Fullmetal Alchemist" (artwork). It is an epic historical fantasy depicting the growth and scheming of Arslan, a boy prince who was forced to flee his country, through his journey to retake the royal capital with only a few companions. The first season aired from April to September 2015 on "Nichi 5," and the second season will air on Sundays from 5:00 p.m. on MBS/TBS networks of 28 stations nationwide. Directed by Noriyuki Abe, series composition by Makoto Uezu, chief character design by Shingo Ogiso, and animation production by Raiden Film.


The cast of new characters has been announced one after another, and now two more have been unveiled. Satoshi Hino will play the role of Merlaine, a warrior who searches for Alfredo, who has been nominated as the next chief of the tribe, while protecting Irina, the princess of the exiled country.

In addition, the first chapter of the mini-reading play, "One Boy, One Knight," will be available to the public for a limited time until July 3.
