Soccer Anime "DAYS" x U-14, Event Report!　Takuto Yoshinaga and Daisuke Namikawa participate in charity fundraising and talk show

An event report has arrived from the TV anime "DAYS," which will start in July.



DAYS" isan anime work based on Takeshi Yasuda's high school soccer manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. It is a coming-of-age drama about an ordinary boy who enrolls in a prestigious soccer club and develops friendships with the club members, all of whom are full of eccentricities. Directed by "Kick Off to the Galaxy! directed by Kounosuke Uda of "ONE PIECE THE MOVIE: Karakuri Jou no Mecha Giant," character design by Kazuto Nakazawa of "Kuroko no Basket" and "Zankin no Terror," and animation production by MAPPA.

The film was in collaboration with the "2016 Tokyo International Youth (U-14) Soccer Tournament" held at Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground, and on May 4, Takuto Yoshinaga, who plays the main character Tsukushi Emoto, and Daisuke Namikawa, who plays Hisato Mizuki, captain of the Seiseki High School soccer team, made an appearance. 　The 2016 Tokyo International Youth (U-14) Soccer Tournament, which was held at Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground from May 1 to 4, and the TV anime "DAYS" collaborated. A special booth was set up in the concourse, where a booklet of the first episode of the manga "DAYS" was given away.

　On May 4, Takuto Yoshinaga, who plays the main character Tsukushi Emoto, and Daisuke Namikawa, who plays Hisato Mizuki, the captain of the Seiseki High School soccer team, came to support the event. Before the match, they and Go Kitazawa, the ambassador of the tournament, called for donations for the Kumamoto earthquake relief efforts, and before the final match, a talk event was held on the side of the pitch.

　At the talk event, Yoshinaga and Namikawa first talked about the characters they play and the recording of the postrecording. In the postrecording, I am surrounded by a lot of senior players, so in terms of the situation, there are some overlaps with Tsukushi (who is a soccer beginner). I am very anxious about playing the leading role for the first time, and I feel like I have no choice but to do it, but I look forward to going to the studio every time. Namikawa, who supports the lead actor as his senior, said, "(The 16-year-old Yoshinaga) is young but has a lot of guts.

　On the topic of club activities, Yoshinaga, who was a member of the soccer club in junior high school, said, "I love soccer, so I am happy to be involved in soccer in this way," while Namikawa, who was a member of the handball club, said, "Handball does not allow you to use your legs, so I am not sure if I can be here. I'm nervous about being here at ......," he said to laughter from the audience. He was the captain of the handball team, and since Mizuki is also a captain, we are looking forward to seeing how he will perform in this film. When asked about her favorite soccer player, Yoshinaga said, "I like the German player Neuer (Bayern Munich), who plays boldly forward despite being a goalkeeper (goalkeeper). Namikawa said, "He's not Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, and that's what I like about him! he said.

　Yoshinaga concluded by saying, "The TV anime "DAYS" will start airing in the summer.
