Disney/Pixar's latest film "Finding Dory" announces Japanese dubbed cast for new characters! Takaya Kamikawa and Anne Nakamura
The cast for the Japanese dubbed version of the animated film "Finding Dory," which will be released on July 16, has been announced.
Finding Dory" is a story set one year after "Finding Nemo," the 76th Academy Award-winning animated feature film and the highest-grossing Disney/Pixar film of all time in Japan. Set in the "human world," a forbidden place for sea creatures, the film depicts a scaled-up adventure and the importance of family and friendship.
As for the cast of the Japanese dubbed version, Shigeru Muroi will continue as the main character, the forgetful Dory, and Noritake Kinashi will continue as Nemo's anxious father, Marlin. The mysterious octopus Hank, who helps Dory on her adventures, will be played by actor Takaya Kamikawa, and the whale shark Destiny, who holds the key to Dory's search for her family and is not a good swimmer, will be played by model/TV personality Anne Nakamura. Ms. Nakamura is making her first attempt at voice acting.
Mr. Takaya Kamikawa plays the role of Hank.
Comment.
I was just happy to receive an offer that I never expected.
Hank is an interesting character who can mimic and transform like a ninja, and I am sure everyone will love him. Please look forward to a great adventure on a larger scale and a touching ending that will warm your heart because it is Dory.
Hank's mouth is invisible even when he is talking, so that was a big hurdle for me to overcome in dubbing.
Mr. Kamikawa is the only person who can play the role of Hank, who can change his appearance and appearance at will and is not known whether he is friend or foe! We have chosen Mr. Kamikawa for this role.
Anne Nakamura as Destiny
Comment
I was extremely happy. I love "Finding Nemo" and all the Pixar movies, so I was really moved!
Nemo" is a special character who reminds me of the importance of family and makes me want to have a family of my own. Destiny is a big shark, but she's also a goofy, cheerful, and kind shark who tries to help Dory. I hope that the way everyone helps Dory conveys compassion. The scene where he speaks whale language was very difficult!
Reason for Disney's choice.
Destiny is a shark, but she is not good at swimming. But Destiny is a very cheerful and energetic character, and I thought that Ms. Nakamura, whose cheerful and energetic appearance is popular among both men and women, was the only choice for the role. Her cheerful smile in the reunion scene with Dolly has already been called "kawaii! She has already gained a reputation for being "kawaii!
