GIGABYTE introduces new "BRIX" compact barebone models with Skylake! Top-end model also includes Thunderbolt 3

The new "BRIX" compact barebone modelswith Skylakeare now on sale from GIGABYTE.

The lineup consists of two models: the Core i7-6500U model "GB-BSi7HT-6500" and the Core i5-6200U model "GB-BSi5HA-6200.




The GB-BSi7HT-6500 and GB-BSi5HA-6200 are compact barebone kits with Skylake-U, Intel's 6th generation Core i series for mobile devices. They are DDR4 memory-compatible versions of the DDR3 memory-compatible "BRIX s" series introduced in January of this year, and are newly equipped with a USB 3.1 Type-C port and Thunderbolt 3 (only the higher-end "GB-BSi7HT-6500" model).


 The differences between the "GB-BSi7HT-6500" and "GB-BSi5HA-6200" are the onboard CPU, the presence of Thunderbolt 3 (only the "GB-BSi7HT-6500" has it), and the number of USB 3.0 ports (four ports on the "GB-BSi7HT-6500" and two on the "GB-BSi5HA-6200"). 6200" has 2 ports).
