Youth baseball anime "Battery" unveils additional cast and second PV!　Tomoki Ono, Ryohei Kimura, Yuichiro Umehara, Yuuki Fujimaki

Additional cast members and the second PV of the TV anime "Battery," which will start in July, have been announced.



Battery" is an anime work based on a novel by Atsuko Asano. The original work, a bestseller with a total of 10 million copies in print, is a coming-of-age baseball drama about an arrogant pitcher overflowing with talent and confidence, and a catcher who is drawn to him. The TV anime adaptation will be aired on Fuji Television Network's "Noitamina" channel, marking the 20th anniversary of the publication of the book. The director and screenplay are by Tomomitsu Mochizuki of "Umi ga Kikoeru" fame, the original character design is by Takako Shimura, a manga artist known for "Hobo Son," and the animation character design and chief animation director is by Eiko Kusama of "Hi-Q! Animation Character Design and Chief Animation Director is Eiko Kusama, Chief Animation Director of "HIQUE!

The main character Takumi Harada, a genius pitcher, is played by Koki Uchiyama, and the catcher Go Nagakura, who will be teaming up with Takumi Harada, is played by Yu Hatanaka.Yuuki FujimakiplaysAonami Harada, the younger brother of Takumi, who is prone to illness and longs to become a pitcher.

Aonami is frail and looks weak at heart, but he has a strong desire to play baseball. So, I would like to enjoy playing the role of Aonami in "The Battery" as much as possible.
