The results of the "16th Anime Movie Popularity Poll" are announced!　No. 1 is "Kizumonogatari" and No. 2 is "Shipwrecked".

The "16 Anime Movie Popularity Poll" on the anime portal "Anipota" operated by Akiba Research Institute has come to an end.



The poll, created by a user named "Brother Max" and held from April 25 to May 25, asked for votes for anime films screened in 2016 that were either good to see or that people were looking forward to seeing. The final results show the strength of the series titles, with "Kizumonogatari <I>Tekketsu-hen</I>" (released in January) in first place, followed by "Ship This Movie" (to be released in fall) in second place and "Accel World: Infinite Burst" (to be released in July) in third place. The top-ranked new film was "聲の形," scheduled for release in September, which came in at No. 5.
