Osomatsu-san" is an original TV animation produced to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth. Based on Fujio Akatsuka's explosive hit gag manga "Osomatsu-kun" published in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in 1962, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. 　Today, "Osomatsu-san" BIRTHDAY PARTY was held at Charmancina Tokyo to commemorate the birthdays of the six children of the Matsuno family of "Osomatsu-san". Even though it was a weekday, advance tickets were sold out for all the sessions, and "Osomatsu-san" fans came from all over to celebrate the six children. Upon entering the venue, visitors were presented with a "pop-up birthday card" and a can badge, both exclusive to today's event. Fans were excited to see the gorgeous exhibits, including a large birthday cake surrounded by panels of the six children drawn for the birthday, congratulatory comments from the main cast members, and congratulatory flowers from the characters!

　When the six children appeared in the middle of the event wearing party costumes and sashes with "today's leading role" written on them, the venue was filled with yellow cheers for their favorite pine trees! When the six girls read the message "Thank you for coming today" from the six panels they were holding, each of them struck a pose for the fans who took the opportunity to take the shutterbugs' photos. By the end of the event, the message boards set up in the venue were filled to overflowing with congratulatory comments.
