The second visual for the anime film "聲の形" is released!　Main Cast: Miyu Irino and Saori Hayami

The second visual and the main cast of the anime film "聲の形", which will be released on September 17, have been announced.



The theme of "聲の形" is based on the manga series by Ryotoki Ohimah, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2013 to 2014. The theme is bullying of the hearing impaired, and the story is about a girl with a hearing impairment and a boy who is isolated in class because he was a central figure in the bullying. The original work won the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award Shinsei Prize, the Comic Natalie Grand Prize, and the first place in the 2015 Otoko version of "This Manga is Amazing! The anime version is directed by Yamada, who also directed "K-ON! Tamako Love Story," script by Reiko Yoshida of Girls und Panzer, character design by Taishi Nishiya of Free!
