Summer Anime "Arslan Senki: Wind Dust Ranbu" Announces Additional Cast Members! Takahiro Sakurai as an old friend of Narsus, Kenjiro Tsuda as a man of the sea.

New characters/cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Arslan Senki: Fuujin Ranbu" which will start in July.



Arslan Senki" is an anime work based on a manga serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine by Yoshiki Tanaka of "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" (original story) and Hiroshi Arakawa of "Fullmetal Alchemist" (artwork). It is an epic historical fantasy depicting the growth and scheming of Arslan, a boy prince who was forced to flee his country, through his journey to retake the royal capital with only a few companions. The first season aired from April to September 2015 on "Nichi 5," and the second season will air on Sundays from 5:00 p.m. on MBS/TBS networks of 28 stations nationwide. Directed by Noriyuki Abe, series composition by Makoto Uezu, chief character design by Shingo Ogiso, and animation production by Raiden Film.


Two cast members playing new characters have been unveiled. Takahiro Sakurai plays Shaggard, a wealthy merchant in the port town of Giran and an old friend of Narsus, and Kenjiro Tsuda plays Glarase, a sea man who has a fateful encounter with Arslan's group.
