Anime film "ONE PIECE FILM GOLD" will be screened on 743 screens, the largest number of screens in Japanese film history! The first 4DX & MX4D screening of the series will also be held!
Screening information was announced from the animated film "ONE PIECE FILM GOLD," which will be released on July 23.
Following "ONE PIECE FILM STRONG WORLD," which was released on December 12, 2009 and recorded box-office revenue of 4.8 billion yen, and "ONE PIECE FILM GOLD," which was released on December 15, 2012 and recorded 6.87 billion yen ONE PIECE FILM Z", which was released on December 15, 2012 and recorded 6.87 billion yen. Eiichiro Oda, the author of the original story, will participate as general producer, while Hiroaki Miyamoto, the third series director of the TV series, will direct and Tsutomu Kuroiwa of "Mystery Solved After Dinner" and "LIAR GAME" will write the script.
The film will be shown on 743 screens in 2D, 3D, 4DX, and MX4D. This will be the largest in Japanese film history, far exceeding the 653 screens for the 2015 release of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'". The trailers for the 4DX and MX4D versions will be released sequentially in theaters from May 28.
