NVIDIA's new GPU GeForce GTX 1080 to be unleashed at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, with midnight sales at some stores in Akiba.

Main specifications include an operating clock of 1,607 MHz at base/1,733 MHz at boost, 2,560 CUDA cores, and 160 texture units. Memory is 8GB of GDDR5X memory (256-bit) with a memory clock of 10GHz and memory bandwidth of 320GB/sec. TDP is 180W.

The schedule for late-night sales is as follows: Tsukumo eX. PC kan, Tsukumo PC Honten and Tsukumo DOS/V PC kan, which are open until 22:00, will extend their hours of operation.
